That was wrong on so many different levels

And that is precisely what made it so EFFIN' RIGHT! Your unerringly easy usage of
contextually correct comedy baffles me, it is either a raw talent on you part and you don't know how you do it, a cold science of the human psyche and how humour affects it... or a dark and forbidden amalgam of both (shudder) we the thirsty masses are at your mercy oh patron saint of shits and giggles.

what kills me is the absolutely spot on way you exploit the established playboy personality of our favourite TIN MAN TEUTON, our CANNED CRUSADER, our FULL METAL CHAUVINIST, the absurd level to which you warped his personality while subtly highlighting his MONOLITHIC ego is art and poetry, pure and simple.
now i have to watch the rest of your stuff... though to be honest, your 300 spoof awhile back honestly was way below your talent.

may the winds of the stars be in your sails forever.

This is why I love reading reviews like this. Some people can spin such beautiful prose to make the "artist" sound so completely brilliant when he/she is just running on instinct and doesn't exactly know why they do what they do, but it just feels right.

..and I agree about the 300 queers thing..it wasn't my brightest moment. (DICKS DICKS DICKS!)

wonderful progression

great animation, surprisingly engaging premise for something so short... bite sized if you will (heh heh bite sized, sigh) outcome was wonderful and disgusting. one a think twice act once careful personality, the other a snap decision, as the wind blows you, spontaneous personality, may get them into trouble at times i suppose, and put them at loggerheads at other times, but, thats the very thing that suit them to each other. i find this flash amusing, but i also find what it implies very sweet. look at how he tries to take care of her, a bit bull rushing yes but, wonderful, and trust she puts in him (tested at times i'm sure by his spontaneous ways). also the reference to Greek and Roman mythology is nicely done, in that nymphs were often the targets of satyrs and in some interpretations, satyrs and fauns are one and the same. also the allusion to a working inter-racial/species relationship is not lost at all.

wonderful

scribblepit responds:

Haha, this review is too detailed and long for me to ignore:) Thankyou. There may be a slight change in their personalities in later episodes to fit my original idea for them but nothing too major. I'm glad you picked up on the faun/nymph relationship thing and for a sneak peek into the following episode It'll probably be dealing with the interpretation of Faun's having an obsession with wine and women.
